But  over the past decade there was that little matter of getting four children through college and launched in their lives (though I’d have to say they did the heavy lifting!)

Now with the kids grown and mostly gone, I’m back in my studio and eager to try some new things. In addition to carving and sculpting waxes for lost wax casting, I’m working in precious metal clay, porcelain, stoneware, and mixed media. And I’m increasingly drawn to trying to create designs that capture a sense of the beautiful place I’m lucky enough to live in.  Watch for a new series of nature and landscape designs soon!

I live with my partner, my youngest son (also a sculptor), and an assortment of animals on 31 acres in northeastern Vermont.
